NutriSystem Select Program Now Available
I happened to see a NutriSystem commercial, and I noticed some foods I have not yet enjoyed. I went right to the NutriSystem website to see if I could adjust my order and include any of the new foods, but I did not see any of the new items.
Curiosity got the best of me. So, I called NutriSsytem to find out more information. It turns out that these new items are part of the NutriSystem Select program. This is the program that came out of the partnership between NutriSystem and Schwan’s.

EatingIntuitively.com is a paid affiliate of Nutrisystem, Inc.
For some more dollars (about $70/per month), I converted from NutriSystem Advanced to NutriSystem Select. I will still get three weeks of the foods I know and love (instead of four). For the fourth week, Schwan’s will deliver a week’s worth of frozen NutriSystem foods. The list is below.
- Apple Crisp
- Asian-Style Beef
- Blueberry Parfait
- Chicken Alfredo
- Chicken Fajita Melt
- Chocolate Fudge Bar
- Fudge Swirl Sundae
- Garden Vegetable Omelet
- Glazed Chicken Tenders
- Golden French Toast
- Homestyle Pancakes
- Ice Cream Sandwich
- Margherita Pizza
- Orange Crème Bar
- Peach Crisp
- Ravioli Formaggio
- Roasted Vegetable Pizza
- Shrimp Alfredo
- Steak and Cheese Melt
- Tender Beef with Portobello Mushrooms Roast Turkey Medallions
- Toasted Ham and Cheese
- Turkey and Egg Breakfast Sandwich
- Vegetable Frittata Strata
This excites me for two reasons. First, I love variety. Although I get a lot of variety with NutriSystem Advanced, more variety is better. Second, I like Schwan’s. When I was a customer, I enjoyed their foods quite a bit.
I have to wait until the end of the month to start NutriSystem Select. I almost can’t wait. All of the new options sound great to me, but what do you think of them? I think the frozen treats sound the best. What would you open first?
Breakfast: NutriCinnamon Squares Cereal; Fish, baked or broiled; Raisins; Bread, oatmeal; Morning Coffee
Morning Snack: Egg Whites; Raisins
Lunch: Pasta Parmesan with Broccoli; Lettuce, green or red leaf; FF Dressing
Afternoon Snack: Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar
Dinner: HomeStyle Chicken Noodles with Gravy; Brussel Sprouts, cooked; Strawberries; Oil, canola, olive, peanut, safflower; Bread, pumpernickel
Dessert: Chocolate Chocolate Chip Pudding
Drinks: Crystal Light
Exercise: one hour walk. I’ve exercised for 270 minutes this week so far. I am reevaluating the strength-building exercise. I want more bang for my buck. I want to replace isolation exercises with compound exercises. I’m also trying to decide if I can do these exercises at home effectively.

Jessica,
I’m glad you’re interested in the NutriSystem programs. There are a few of them. NutriSystem Flex offers 20 days of food over a 4-week period. NutriSystem Advanced offers 28 days of food over the 4-week period. NutriSystem Select is NutriSystem Advanced with frozen foods. The pricing is different for each, and NutriSystem has various offers to save money. When I went from NutriSystem Advanced to NutriSystem Select, my order increased about $70.
I started NutriSystem after I saw a commercial and took advantage of the “two weeks free” offer. Signing up for auto-delivery automatically gives you a discount that increases as you continue. Since I am a proud affiliate of NutriSystem, I am able to post some of their current offers.

How do you go from the advanced to the select?
I called NutriSystem, and they switched me over. It was a little bit of a process, but I am enjoying the variety.
